One of Italy’s best-known journalists, he began working in 1976 with the daily Lotta Continua. From 1983 he joined the editorial staff of L’Espresso as a correspondent and carried out numerous investigations. On television he conducts “Profondo Nord,” “Milan, Italy” and “Pinocchio” for Rai. Deputy director of La Stampa and director of Tg1, in 2001 he moved to La7 and hosts “L’infedele.” He has numerous publications, including the recent “Noi, partigiani: memoriale della Resistenza italiana” (edited with Laura Gnocchi) and “Gaza: odio e amore per Israele,” published by Feltrinelli.
