Tales from the propagations festival

My journey to the Propagations Festival: a third edition that excited me

Every year, the Propagazioni Festival surprises and excites me, and even in this edition, which I experienced less as an organizer and more as a festival-goer, my connection with the event was strengthened.
I was fortunate to be among those who saw the festival come into being and who see it grow and evolve every year.
What sticks with me every year even after the scheduled events are over are the many simple but intense moments that the festival manages to create. In the morning, see little girls and children gather to listen to readings and stories, shaded by pine trees that mitigate the hot mid-August sun. See the excitement of guests taking their first swim in the crystal clear waters of Mandriola after their show. Taking a dive into the past and present of an Oristan institution like the Ariston Cinema. Hearing the words charged with historical memory and civic commitment from Agnese Moro and Franco Bonisoli that created an emotion and emotion that touched and united those in attendance. To hear Patrick Zaki tell of his imprisonment and return home with greater awareness than how important it is to defend freedoms and democracy.

Being part of the staff of a festival that grows year by year is a unique experience. Seeing the Propagations Festival become more and more of a cultural landmark for the city and for those who come from afar makes me feel that the commitment, concerns and effort behind organizing such an event are not in vain. It was nice to observe how, although it has grown, the festival continues to contain great events but also to be a home for gatherings where the dimension is intimate but always special.
At the end of the festival, I take home a suitcase full of emotions, reflections and gratitude. The Propagations Festival is more than a literary event: it is an enriching and growing experience that grows with you.

Music has the power to unite people, to give voice to deep emotions, and to convey messages of hope and change.

Conducting the Sounds of Freedom gospel choir on Sept. 27 for the cultural event organized by the Propagations Festival 2024 was a moment of strong intensity and significance for me.

The evening organized in the Church of Palmas Arborea to raise awareness against violence against women was attended by an attentive audience united by a common desire for justice and solidarity.

The evening took on an even deeper value thanks to the presence of Francesca Marras, the curator of the Oristano Anti-Violence Center, whose words reminded us how necessary it is to continue to fight against all forms of violence and abuse.

Her reflections, combined with the expressive power of the gospel, made the event not just a concert, but a true statement of purpose, a collective cry for the respect and dignity of every woman.

I will take with me the beauty of this evening, the strength of the people who sang and listened, and the certainty that, through art and music, we can continue to build a better world.

An elevating experience of listening and reflection enriched by a passionate staff

The Propagations Festival 2024 edition really excited me, with a series of meetings that not only enriched our minds but also touched us deeply in our hearts. Unforgettable moments such as those with Patrick Zaki and Agnese Moro were a unique opportunity for listening and reflection. I feel truly honored to have had the opportunity to work with such a knowledgeable and open-minded staff, who made every step of this event even more special and meaningful.

A plunge into Culture and new human bonds

The Propagations 2024 festival was a truly rewarding experience in many ways. Professionally, it was very interesting and allowed me to delve into the world of culture and experience it through its main actors. From a human perspective, it was also a learning experience, introducing me to new people and forging bonds with them beyond the festival experience itself. I hope that propagation 2025 can be a continuation of last year’s beautiful event.
